Let It Snow!

It snowed a lot up in Minneapolis. Enough so that -- well, go here to see what happened to the Metrodome.

In the 6 years that I lived in St Paul/Minneapolis it NEVER snowed that much!

Yeah, that hasn't happened since the 1980s. My son was rather disappointed that the Vikings game got moved to Detroit - he had tickets.

Now that's impressive coverage! It made me think of the scene in "The War of the Worlds" where the radio reporter says something like "I'll keep covering this as long as I can ... They're coming clo -- "

Yeah, saw that on BBC news this morning. They were showing it in Britain. We only got a few inches here, (4?) but the falling temperatures and the damp snow left it -really- slippery. Even for Michigan.
