Sounds familiar, although I've never fallen that far behind. Normal pre-COVID pattern was generally reading front page & sports during lunch, then style & local news during dinner on weekdays, on weekends front page & sports at breakfast, other sections at dinner. Subway commuting time was books, magazines and graphic novels on the tablet.
COVID and demands of small child have scrambled that. Front page & sports get read across breakfast and lunch, dinner is now the read-stuff-on-tablet time, the rest of the sections get read as I find a few minutes. Result is I'm often about a week behind on sports and style but otherwise generally caught up.
I am hoping for various reasons the front section will be a bit thinner than it's been the past year (and especially the past few months), which will speed up reading.
