Tar Baby

There's nothing like discovering that you're in the middle of one of those tar baby projects at work on a Friday afternoon, especially when you're supposed to join daisy_knotwise for dinner at daddy_guido and cary_lee's tonight. But I think I've found some tar dissolver, so I'm going to check this stuff in and get the heck out of here.

Dinner was pretty much on time and went well. Much Capricon business was discussed. :)

The Consonance set list has been together for more than a week and we've been practicing. This is a good thing.

Yay! Practice is good! Especially when there's more than one of you - I think it's much easier to wing it when you're not coordinating with someone else. Unless you're both psychic, maybe; then you could mentally make sure you screw up in the same places. Or at least ask frantic question ("Do I come in here or is it another two bars?") without anyone knowing.

Hmm, I kind of like the idea of telepathic singing partners who never get around to rehearsing before the show and hence always have to chatter (mentally) while they're singing...
