Went out on an Ingress op tonight with an old friend of mine from the U of I that I haven't seen in many years. It was fun, if not necessarily productive.
Heh. I ended up participating in a failed mega-field a few days ago. Was fun, more expensive than I'd antiicpated (I needed to pay a small amount to access an area in my clearing zone), and ultimately got foiled by bad luck and timing. But next time (hell, maybe next time I can arrange to be in the closing team; I'm still silver ilum).
