I got another 100K AP yesterday myself - there's been quite a bit of good linking and fielding around the area. I've got around 200K to L7, so not all that far behind you.
This area has quite a few high level players about - I've noted a handful of L12-L14. At least 2 L15, although one of them is a bit of a tool. And we had an out of towner over the holiday who is probably at L16 by now (he was L15 with under 500K to go, and already had all the badges/medals to move up).
