I Smell Something Burning

Via Instapundit, the folks at WickedLasers have announced a portable one watt blue laser that is powerful enough to set exposed flesh on fire. It can permanently blind you too, I'm guessing without a lot of trouble.

As someone who believes in the Second Amendment, I look at this and find myself wishing that it required a license. A big, hard to get license.

Something Burning

In this case, not something ignited by a 1W blue laser. I just finished transferring all of the tracks for Juanita's Martha Keller project from ADAT to Cubase and have burned a DVD so that I can hand it off to sexybass at Duckon. (Or possibly to his lovely bride who is a mistress of organization. :) )

Tomorrow, I can burn copies of the listening CDs.
