The General Annoyance of ClearCase and Speakeasy

It turns out that the problem with the new ClearCase view that I created yesterday was that the default for view creation has somehow changed from "Transparent" to "Add CR" for handling the CR/LF combinations. I never change this, so I didn't even think about it. The result was that I had to blow up the view and recreate it.

Because my Speakeasy DSL connection is dropping periodically, I have to keep restarting the ClearCase view loading. I think I had to restart it about 10 times. However, after two or three hours, I had finally recreated the view.

And it compiled.

*sheesh*
